Task 3 & 4

Placing my thriller film into the real world of general cinematic release.

There are many different ways in releasing my thriller movie 'Solo' in cinematic release. these are things such as posters, trailers, online, mobile, promotional partnership, merchandising and premiers.

Posters consists of an image that relates to the film the most and also would appeal to the audience. it also gives a sense of what the films is about, this is in relation to the theme of the movie. it would be a good idea to produce various different poster for our movie Solo. this makes the posters attract people more. also makes the film look more interesting. They should be posted locally so the movie can be spread by word and mouth. this 'word and mouth' helps promote the movie to get a lot of viewers and its costs nothing.

Trailers are short clips of the movie. this builds up an idea for the audience to know what the movie might be about. it gives them a story to follow and gives a good understanding. This is helpful in promoting the movie, when people she trailers they enjoy then they will hopefully tell their friends about it and then go watch the film when its released.

Online promotions is a really good idea. majority of people use the Internet 95% of the time. most films that are released have an official website. the page consists of everything to do with the movie. if people like it people would go watch it. Also the page must be eye-catching and interesting for who ever viewing the website. it should also be easy to understand and follow. the Internet helps build up awareness of the movie at the beginning of the release.

Media advertising is relevant depending on the market condition through out the year. if all goes well your film gets broad casted through many channels also what needs to be taken into consideration is whether or not it will clash with other films.
