EVALUATION - SOCIAL GROUPS BEING REPRESENTED BY OUR MEDIA PRODUCTS

The group was inspired by the film 'se7en' in relation to our own title sequence. There are similarities between the title sequence 'se7en' and our own 'solo'... these are things such as (photographs) were both victims of the movie. Also they were both captured by a Villon(s).

In our title sequence i played the part of the female victim being captured and the beaten up. however in 'se7en' they use a male victim and the same thing happens to him. this is one of the differences between our tile sequence 'solo' and 'se7en'. we show that it doesn't matter what gender you are if you are placed in the same situation how would you know to escape from it. this showed the contrasts between both genders. It showed that women and men are both equal as each other.

Representation of social group can also be differentiated by age. We did this by making my character a young female and the man in 'se7en' was a older character it showed how due to age he might be wiser in freeing him self than my character simply because my character is young and not knowledgeable. This was another difference.
