The film we based our thriller on is the title opening of "se7en" this is because we liked there choice of camera movements and angle types. The favoured close ups which we tried to use alot in with our opening. Close ups helped us represent particular social groups, the main conetation our film shows us is different sterotypes you can get from women. "solo" has two characters throug out, Theses are both women, one is the victim and the other one is a villian. This is because our film is a goodies vs badies thriller. There are many shots through out which look down on the victim and are very close up showing the postion of the victim. This shows the usal conception of the media of women being "week" and not being able to defend for themselves. In "Se7en"
Here are a few shots from "se7en" and my own thriller which sho

In"se7en" there are multiple vitcims which "solo" doesnt have. They both seem to be males in "se7en" which is unsal and challeges the usal conception of a vitcim.
In "solo" the vitcim is female, this shot shows her looking week and unable to get out of the capture. Mise en sene is a very important part in both shots from making theses sterotypes, In
"se7en" there is more professinal forms of make up and costume to make the person more creepy looking. The picture to the left has a person looking almost white this is what indicates the person is a vitctim. Whereas as our victim is a female make up is a key facter, as shown in the film the alima gets "beaten up" so her make up is all down her face.
