Throughout our media production there where various different things we had to learn whilst producing our clips. in relation to this clip 'continuity' plays a big part. this is used so clips can run smoothly and be appealing to the audience. this is so that the clip looks good and also professional to the viewer. there are also various different things that we as a group improved on. these where things such as camera shoots, sound track and Mise en scene.
CAMERA SHOTS:
We learnt how to use different camera shots such as over the shoulder shot. this was to give a better effect of how things can be shown in anther aspect. this was also used to make the audience feel not at ease especially to build up tension to what might happen next. another type of shot we used was extreme close up shots of the victims face. last time we didn't use this in our match cut and when we used in our solo clip we found that this was a better shot to use to build up tension. we also used mid shots, meaning we didn't show the background. this was so the audience is unaware of the surroundings. we also used close up shots to show the characters importance on the screen.
SOUND TRACK:
Our soundtrack used in the 'Solo' clip is very different to the match cut. in our match cut we used one continuous soundtrack that ran all the way through out. we learnt that in our solo clip it wold be better for us to use mixtures of sounds that go together but at the same time build up tension. we used a slow sound to start with. then builds up later with lots of different other sounds. we did this on 'soundtrack pro' which was a really good application to use for this part of our production on the clip 'Solo'.

MISE EN SCENE:
consisted of hand bag, phones, car, clothes (jackets, jeans, scarf, belt, shoes etc...), make up and black bags. these were all the things that the audience can see on the screen. the phone was used for communication and to build up tension between both characters because both of them were on the phone at the same time but not to each other. car was used to shoe were one of the character was coming from. make up represents the bruises on the victims face. the black bags was used to put the victim into before being beaten up. all these things were used to build up a clear picture for the audience.
