Skills Audit: Livetype & Soundtrack Pro

During this lesson, with the help of Marisa, we learnt how to use Livetype and Soundtrack Pro which will help us with editing our final Thriller clip.
The thriller title sequence, which includes 'directed by, produced by, starring, etc', is essential in our thriller clip as it is worth 60 marks.
Initially, we were shown where to type in the title, and it would appear on the canvas. We were also showed how to change the size of the whole word or individual letters. We were also shown how to change the font and to add colour to the writing. We were introduced to different transitions for the writing and different positions, including straight or diagonal.
Marisa then showed us how to add textures - which is the background that the title will be placed on - to clips. There is a drop-down, which allows different types of textures to be used including, 'Business', 'Drafting' & 'Liquid'.
Effects, such as 'Drop & Bounce', 'Bouncy' and 'Jumpy' can also be used on the word(s) used on the titles to add more emphasis and to attract the viewers.

Soundtrack Pro is the program used to produce our own music as we can not use other soundtrack other than ours. Marisa showed that we have different beats from different genres including, 'Urban', 'Jazz' and 'Cinematic' to use as soundtrack. We played around with the program to get used to using it and we were also told we are able to import our final soundtrack into our clip so we can use it on the Thriller clip
