'Se7en' is a thriller film, the titles are senif fonts which look very like a childs handwriting. This shows the creppy genre it is trying to protray. The titles say the producers, stars, and any other people to do with the making of the film. The size of the writing is very small, and there are distrbing pictures in the backgroud for example, a man cutting his fingers and turning pages of a book. The narative in the opening sequence does not make sense when first watching it.The format of the title sequence is font on a plan background,with a bit of nartative, this is why it is so successful compared to other title opening. It manages to draw viewers in beginging. The editing is very quick and theres alot of fast shots and close up used. Which gives the viewer only a quick view of whats going on and gives it a mistorious feel to the film. There is alot of things that appeal to me in the sequence this is, the way the colours are very bold, stand out and really highlights what is going on in the sequence which creates tension and surpense.
